It is illegal for a felony to be around or in possession of a fire arm. If they found out you will have to get rid of the guns or he will have to find another place to live. |

He would go back to prison. The law states that not only can a convicted felon not own a firearm, but they cannot have access to them. |

No, he cannot be around any firearms, or even carry one. He lost that privilege when he was convicted of a felony. But after seven years he can fight for his right to bare arms. |

most states the guns are not supposed to be in the same household or on the property as the felon |

No. If he has any access to them, then he will be in violation of his parole, and of 12021 of the CA PC. (More felony charges) and a revoked parole (back to the house.)
Of course, this is in California. |

It is a violation of his parole to be around the guns. They could confiscate them and send his *** back to prison. |

A convicted felon can not possess or have access to guns. If the guns are locked up and he does not have access to them some courts have ruled they can still be in the home. |

Not if they are you guns and you have obtained them legally and have the necessary papers to show them. You need to make sure that he does not handle or steal your guns and I would be cautious of having him around at all. |

You're good as long as they are locked up, not within his possession. |
