Just outlaw the knives like you did guns. What was that? What do you mean the bad guys still have their guns ??? Well just arrest them. What do you mean they have knives too ? Well just ask them nicely to stop committing crimes. That'll work, surely. What? what do you mean "They are criminals"? the old bill should treat knifes as guns, ( the same punishment). its all the chav c.u.n.t.s that carry knifes. also "pretty p....." i wear a hoodie but im not a trouble maker , i wear it coz its comfy and warm. but i spose im not from london, im from plymouth which dusnt have much knife crime. =]

allow firearms, that will stop a knife attack almost everytime.

Treat possessing a knife like possessing a firearm. Give them a lengthy spell in the slammer, and make them serve it all.

A lot of people seen to think banning all guns is a good idea so how about banning all knives or better yet ban all sharp objects.

Difficult to see how it can be stopped particularly as young people on our streets today are living a culture borrowed from USA .... made easy by our government and other institutions promoting everything American and abandoning a lot of what is British, that had stood us in good stead for many a generation.

Well I think everyone screaming 'human rights' all the time is responsible for a lot. Everyone should be eligible for stop and search if suspected by the police. I know that gun crime is usually black on black and the black population are the first to complain if they are searched. I think knives are carried by all races, therefore everyone should be searched if suspected.

When my son was a teenager he was a skate boarder and was consistently questioned by the police because he wore scruffy dress. When he complained to me, I said that most crime was carried out by young men, therefore it was to be expected that they would stop and question him. He is now grown and in business and agrees with me that the police were not wrong. The police have their hands tied all the time.

So what you are saying is that banning guns doesn't eliminate violence. How shocking (especially since that's pretty much what the NRA said would happen. )

Focus people the first thing you have to do is admit that the weapons are not the problem, the people that abuse them are. And that all a weapon ban does is change the weapon of choice for the violent minded people.

Ban guns they use knives. Ban knives they switch to crossbows.....In the end you will be faced with having to ban rocks.
