Anyone know limitations on driving after a DWI?

My younger brother got a DWI and served his one year suspension. He now has a ignition interlock device installed on his car. Is he permitted to drive all vehicles or just the car that its installed on. Reason I ask is we own a company and I have my concerns about him being pulled over in a company vehicle. We are in NC, thanks!

That depends on the conditions of his restricted license. They should be listed on the license, or on a card with the license.
You are normally only allowed to drive the vehicle with the interlock, but there may be exceptions for work. |

Only the ignition switch vehicle. If he is caught driving any other vehicle, he'll be going back to jail. |

You should contact your local police department, but it sounds like he needs to only drive the car with the interlock on it.
I'm pretty sure that if he were pulled over driving a car without the device, he would be in violation of his probation and would be subject to more penalties, license revocation and such.
You could perhaps have an interlock device installed on one of the company cars... that is completely legal.
somewhere around these numbers:
$70 for installation, $67.50 for monthly monitoring and calibration and a $100 refundable deposit or $5 monthly insurance charge.

In louisiana you have to have one installed in the company vehicle that you drive. I have to have one in my personal vehicle because I was convicted of driving under the influence of marijuana. How much sense does that make. but this is louisiana i am talking about. |

The best thing you can do is call your local Law Enforcment Department and find out from them don't risk your brother is not worth it.
I'm from California so they are very strict after the first dwi and have Zero tolerance
