Are county inmates allowed one phone call during weekends?

The rules would be set up by the county. Here are a few reasons why an inmate might not call out.

Phone privilege might be suspended at the facility for disciplinary reasons. This could be for the whole facility, or just certain inmates.

The number the inmate is trying to call blocks collect calls.

The number the inmate is trying to call can not be reached from the jail phones (cell phone or pay phone).

The inmate does not want to call!

They can normally make several as long as it is collect and a land line.No cell phones allowed
