Are most cops corrupt, psychotic, and wife beaters?

Some but not all. Here in California they wanted to pass a law that would prohibit anyone ever accused of wife beating from purchasing a gun. Then they found that so many cops had a wife beating record that they would lose their ability to purchase the tool of their trade. They couldn't figure out a way to state that wife beater could not purchase guns except for cops and then not feel embarrASSED so the law died in committee. Funny in a sick ironic way.

I wouldn't go as far as calling most of them wife beaters. I would just say that generally, they take the job because they need to be in control of their environment.

The men and women who wear a badge are the only thing standing between us and anarchy. Instead of slandering them, you should thank them each and every day for the difficult, deadly, and thankless job they perform.

Of course, there are a few who have personal shortcomings, but by and large, they are some of the finest human beings on the planet.

Before you ask, I am NOT a police officer, but I have the privilege of knowing many and being related to a few. God bless and keep our men and women in blue!
