papers r NOT paraphenalia as ppl use it to roll tobacco things that are............cigar tubes blown into crank pipes antennas made into crack pipes weed pipes/bongs syringes razorblades used to chop dope and anything used to administer drugs

dancing11freak
Rolling papers are not drug paraphanalia because the original purpose is tabacco.

In some States yes. Can be considered if there is suspicion of drug use or can be used as a medium for suspicion

Umm, the only time you would go to prison for a joint in Texas would be if it was 20 feet long, and contained about 100 pounds of weed in it.

it just bothers me when people talk about the greatest state in the union in a negative manner.

In California, rolling papers are not drug paraphernalia.

Papers only become drug paraphenalia when is if found with other paraphenalia, such as pipes, clips, bongs, hash, weed. With the price of cigarettes these days many people roll there own cigarettes. If the paper is found with loose tabacco it is not considered paraphenalia.

It depends on what state you're in - in California the law is (for lack of a better term) fairly liberal and pot enforcement laws are a real low priority for most police departments.

But some states' laws are positively Draconian - I wouldn't want to be caught dead with anything in places like Oklahoma and Texas. They'll send you to prison for possession of a joint!

If you have the paper and ordinary tobacco, then no, but if you have grass, then yes.

ive seen polics officers charge people with a paraphanelia charge for papers...considering most people dont roll their own ciggarettes anymore its pretty apparent what they are buying it for

Yes and no...It kinda depends on the vibe that the officer gets from you. If you have a past history of drugs than more than likely yea but can they charge you with it....? IDK but what I do know is you can definately fight it

they are not considered paraphenelia alone. but if you are charged w/ possesion, you can catch an additional charge for paraphenelia if you have papers w/ you too.

It depends. Rolling papers are innocent in some situations, but not if they are found along with a bag of pot. Other paraphenalia? Pipes, needles, etc. But not matches or a lighter.

Roadrunner58-79
N O, as long as you have regular smoking tobacco in your possession.
Drug paraphernalia consist of crack pipe, a bong for smoking MJ, needles, etc!!

That depends on the situation, what else is present and what state or community you are in.

well if they are the ones with wires in them yea if they are tops nah. .lol papers cannot indicate you are on dope people roll their own cigarettes but anything more than a gram ( a joints worth ) of pot is a bad thing .. bongs are considered paraphernalia.. pipes .. cans with holes in them made into a pipe.. residues on ashtrays.. even in your car the smell is probable cause to search. if all they got was papers and no weed fight it always plea not guilty to lessen the charge and get an attorney. i don't know all your evidence if this is what were talking about. just asking in general don't carry them as there is always a probable cause.carry gum as breath sprays actually have alcohol in them and can give a false positive test for being under the influence which then can be another probable cause if u was to ever blow ( which u can refuse) a breath test in driving, it would go up so don't use breath sprays..wot ever your doing stay off the road

Nobody rolls their own cigarettes now days. (yeah a rare few) What else are they used for except to wipe your poodle's butt.
