ok well i have a scanner on my computer and i was copying a fifty dollar bill to play a prank, or a game with, and it printed about 1/4 of the fifty dollar bill and all the sudden it stopped printing the fifty dollar bill and printed this weird website http://www.rulesforuse.org and when i went to that site it talked about conterfeit money and how its illegal. So now im sitting here wandering if the FBI or Sercet Service will be at my front door sometime soon. Also, if they do come, will they take me to juvie (Im only 13) or will they give me a warning?

First of all the site is not a government site, it would have ended in ".gov" if it had been from the Treasury or FBI.
By copying the $50 bill you did technically violate the laws about counterfeiting. However, the Secret Service (who enforces counterfeiting laws) does have better things to do than prosecute 13 year olds. I doubt anyone is going to show up at your house.
This warning may have occurred because some computers, copiers, and scanners that are linked to the Internet have programs installed to detect money being copied and will interrupt the copying and direct you to a warning of some type.
Most folks who try to copy money on copiers and scanners do not have them hooked up to a computer or the Internet.
You might want to stick to pranks that don't involve grumpy federal agents, annoyed federal judges and long stays in places with names like "Leavenworth Federal Prison" |

You are fried!!!
Not really just don't do it again. Some color copiers and scanners come equiped with automatic shut down feature so that if someone tries to copy money they won't do it. I worked at kinko's for 15 years, trust me on this. Sometimes they will even shut down with something they think is money. If you can change the scanning setting to black and white or enlarge the image while you are scanning you might be able to make a copy. |

because you went to copy it,that site is just telling you its counterfit. You can go forward of copying it without getting into trouble,as long as you dont use the money after you copied it. Thats probably not a wise prank to pull since it is illegal,so maybe you should just throw it away,and thing of something else that wont get you into trouble,or you dont feel like you will get into trouble. |

Where are you getting all this weird signal from your head. Of course not, the FBI doesnot even know where you live. That website is automatically played on the scanner I presume because it automatically scan that it is a money thing, we are now living in the modern technology when it comes to appliances we used at home. But it doesnot mean they already detected what you were doing and they are about to storm your house and arrest you. You are watching too many movies lately or taking too much coffee?
Do what you intend to do and do not bother to think about the FBI remember it is only a frank game with that but do not actually use that in any store unless you really want problems to step inside your home, ok. Have fun. But do not over do it ok. |

It would be the Secret Service, but no, I wouldn't worry about it. there are some sites that just give you warnings like that to decrease their liability. |
