i drove for 2.5 hours today on the highway.
in that time, i was tailgated by 5 women and 1 man. 4 of the 5 women were on the cell phone. the man was not. one women tailgated me even though the left lane was wide open.
Wasn't the safe following distance covered in the driving manual?
It seems as though more tickets need to be written for tailgating. This is far more serious than speeding as it has greater potential for disaster.
Additional Details
Organism, stupid to me does not take testosterone. Being a few feet off of my bumper at highway speeds is stupid enough for me.

I don't know about other women but my wife must be the best driver in the world ,she's been giving me free driving tips for 48 yrs. I don't even have to ask for her advice , she just volunteers it, watch out for that car , the speed limit is 45 mph here ,watch out for those people .With 48 yrs. of training ,That should at least make me the 2nd best driver in the world. |

Statistically, men are the worst drivers. That's why insurance companies charge young men the highest premiums.
I think the real problem is morons who think they can talk on their cell phones while they're driving a car. It's illegal in my state. |

I can't say for sure.
I can say that I very frequently see a poor driving history with female applicants. I have had several women with some bad ones but the majority of them have been from male applicants.
Just as a driver I have noticed that men tailgate more often and engage in aggressive driving more often than women. |

Either that or they'ree fussing with their hair, still, young, testosterone driven and stupid males will do the most dangerous things by far, like it or not. Not two days ago I saw some young Turk pull a wheelie on a Hayabusa at 90 miles and hour. Later in life I will say that men are slightly better drivers if only that they are glad to still be alive,LOL. |
