No. I've taken the time and effort to live where they don't. I don't hang out where they're likely to congregate. I'm armed, thus little scares me. The criminals in government concern me, but don't scare me. They'll never really be able to take away my rights - if they tried, I and a million others would get some wonderful target practice. Getting old and being at someone else's mercy does scare me. |

It depends. If the criminal is carrying a weapon or/and is twice my size, then yes, I'm afraid of them. |

I don't trust them, Fear if my life was in danger probably, I

It would depend on the crime, some criminals are rather harmless, while others would kill you as to look at you. Most criminals, I would not be afraid of. |

I'm more afraid of police who have absolute power. Because a lot of criminals have badges. |

Depends on the person and the crime... |

Not in the least.
Unless they have a gun, they behave like cowards.
They think a gun levels the playing ground and it usually does - unless the person he is attacking has one too..... |

No, I am afraid that if I defend myself the law will end up protecting the criminal. ie. Someone breaks into my house and I kill them, I have to go to trial and it is possible that I will lose. It seems a victim must wait until a second before he/she is killed before being able to legitimately defend themselves. Sorry, but if someone comes after me on my own turf, I am going to do everything I can do to kill them. Giving second chances to these types of people could mean more trouble. They shouldn't be breaking into my house. What do the courts think, the robber is asking for a cup of sugar?! |

no-but i am afraid for us all because the judical system lets us down--if we defend against a crim,we'll probably have to defend against his lawyer--HOW IRONIC???? |

I can't allow to be afraid of the 'what ifs'.
Do not need to put yourself in harms way: don't walk alone at night, don't park car where it is dark, look inside car before get in, do not have items in plain sight in car (put in trunk), lock doors to car & home, stay out of 'bad' neighborhoods, carry purse close to you, don't hang purse on back of toilet door at large malls, stores or airports, etc... |

It depends. Child molesters are usually skinny weirdos so i wouldnt be afraid of them cuz they could get beat up easily. On the other hand a murderer is something that i would be scared off. |
