I work in a bank and treat black americans no different than white americans. Maybe I am not understanding right but everyone should be treated equal. If they feel they are being treated different maybe its not because they are black but because they are difficult customers. |

Are you saying that banks should make a loan to black people even though they (black customer) have no way to pay it back in the manner of banking rules?Or that black patrons should receive higher interest rates on savings accounts? Or the bank should "contribute" funds to overdrafts a black customer might write?

Well that all depends on what you're going to the bank for. If you're looking to get a loan and you're black you better have A-1 credit. Most of the banks treat their customers with more common sense and respect nowadays, especially when you're coming to their institution with millions of dollars at your disposal. To banks status is everything, the greater the status, the deeper the pocket. |
