Arrested for no reason - horrible experience in jail. Who do I turn to???

About three months ago I was being followed by the police.
When I woke up I was in a gas station bathroom with all my clothes off with three (3) police German Shepards and the police beating me with sticks.

They took me to jail and I had more problems there. I tried to explain my situation to the other men in the jail but they refused to listen. The ringleader of them took my meals and gave me a vicious beating again when I spilled water on him (on purpose). I tried to take control of the situation and take leadership of the other inmates, but the men there stopped me by using threats of violence, shaking a broomstick at me and taking my food. The jail was very dirty and noisy.

There was another young man in the jial for starting fires he was only 17 years old and skinny and and they beat him up badly and basically made him their slave.

Who do I complain to about this??? I do not know where to turn. Please someone help me thank you Dennis

Who do you turn to? Why, you turn to your school guidance counsellor and request to talk to a psychiatrist. Let's see if I got this straight. You were just driving along minding your own business, some police were following you for some unknown reason, and the next thing you know you woke up naked in a gas station washroom. (hee-hee-hee ... sorry, I couldn't help that). The washroom was big enough for a team of police dogs to be chomping on you, and several police beating on you with sticks. (ha-ha-ha-ha-ha)! The next thing you remember is that you were in a jail cell with a number of other prisoners, one of whom had been allowed to have a weapon in there with him ... a broom stick no less! (HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA)! Being so obviously superior to those low-lifes you attempted to organize everyone and assume leadership of the merry band, but were thwarted only by the sheer number of your opponents. (ooooh .. I can't hold it back much longer). Then there was a juvenile somehow mixed in with the vicious group of adult offenders, and they were not nice to him???? OOOOOO .. HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-H!!!!! RAOTFLHWTSUDMF!! (Rolling all over the floor laughing hysterically with tears streaming uncontrollably down my face). OMG, thank you, thank you. I haven't had a good laugh like that in a long time!!

Get a lawyer. Then remember that "arrested for no reason" can't happen in the USA - you have to be charged within a certain time period, brought before a judge, etc. So... where were you when you were arrested? What country?

stay in doors with the doors locked. i've been to jail many times, and prison, and nothing like that ever happened to me....i think i'd just stay out of the bright sun and stay in doors if i were you.....(pssst avoid those rest rooms too!)

If this is true, then contact a lawyer or myabe the human rights commission. If this is not true, maybe you should go to jail, you will see that most of those things don't generally happen.

interesting...I have been in jail and never had anything like this happen, nor have I spoken with any one who went through this.
my best bet would be to speak with a lawyer or if you have the John Howard Society where you are, try and contact them, they are great.

Well, even if you tell a "lawyer" or anyone else, like the city hall of your city, they won't listen or, MOSTLY, not do anything about it. Most jails are like this in almost every city. Prisons, also, of course. You might as well, just forget about this, even if you fought your city, you probably wouldn't win, because most of the time, the government wins, for they have more power. Our own government can't control our jails and prisons. They don't want more mess when they can't fix their own mess. It all leads to one thing. The United States is failing to be what it was meant to be.

That's insane. Call a lawyer, any lawyer - I'm sure he/she would love to hear about this case. By the way, in your first paragraph, you went from police following you to waking up in a gas station bathroom being beaten. How did that happen?

I wouldn't pay much attention to these wannabe cops who think your story is B.S. Most of them are probably failed mall security guards. Bad things can certainly happen in jail. And a 17 year old can DEFINITELY end up in an adult jail - at least where I live (Rhode Island).

You need to contact a lawyer ASAP. Your story is strange, but it is not unbelievable. You probably also need to examine how you are living your life and presenting yourself to others. Most adults, whether they are in jail or not, don't take being bossed around lightly. Before you try to "organize" other people, get your own act together. Why were the cops following you in the first place?
