Personally I would ask for all person's ID's and go back to the car, call for back up and check all ID's in the process. That way you at least have all their info. Who knows you may get more than just the driver!

Felony stop, pistol out: "Driver, turn off the car, and come out with your hands up." "Walk backwards towards me." Then cuff him. Bring all of the other passengers out in the same fashion.

Failure to appear is a misdemeanor. If you have already learned this you have already called in his info and should know if he is a threat or has parking tickets. You should weigh this and the perp and ask him to exit the vehicle if you feel safe with it--otherwise let him go -- you have his info and he can be arrested later. OK??

Then bring the whole car in the police precint just tell them that there is problem with the car registration and could easily clear it up in the precint.

if you felt unsafe by the number of persons in the car, and you were without backup nearby, than simply inform the driver of his warrant, ask him to take care of it, and send him on his way...no harm no foul in letting 1 catch a break every now and then...you may wanna let him know that his "boys" almost caused you to have to take em ALL to the pokey due to their interference...better he yells at them to shut-it than for you to have to fight the lot of em over a simple traffic warrant..!!

Well obviously you've already got his drivers license and registration in order to have found out he is wanted for a different violation! You call for backup first, then make like your gonna just give a citation and everything back to him; but instead calmly remove the keys from the ignition and tell everyone to stay seated, then go back to your vehicle and wait until backup arrives.

I'm not a cop but I suppose you would call for back up. Another way is to do what all the other cops do and that is blow them all away. Then plant a gun and claim self defense.
