Automatic camera & traffic police directing traffic.Will I get ticket when camera snaps at red light?

It happens here in my country, I'm not sure if the local authority would still issue tickets if a traffic police is directing the traffic, overriding the traffic light signals (of course). But does the camera actually 'know' that those 'beating' the traffic light are following the traffic police direction?
Will we get ticket in the end of the day?

The officer shows up in the photos. In my city all photos are reviewed by a human officer or a retired officer who checks such things as plates and actual conditions at the site prior to having a ticket sent out. My city you can also view your photos or video on line after you receive a ticket and appeal to a hearing officer, you don't even have to go to court.
Also be aware that you may see the light flash in the future when you are driving OK. They sometimes go off for calibration reasons. |

If it were me, I would be prepared to go to traffic court by writing down the exact location and the date and time and anything else you can think of to present to the judge |

Good point, I think the last answerer's right... write down all the details, but I assume the camera's pan is wide enough to capture the officer also... I mean it'd be ovious if there was a roadblock/accident where more than just YOUR car is running red lights slowly... I wouldn't expect a tik |

You shouldn't. Just be sure you can describe the cop and know about what time you were there. Note the reason the cop was directing traffic if you know it. Write it down in a journal or on you computer calendar. Anytime anything out of the ordinary happens you should make a note of it in case it becomes important later on. |
