1 x no insurance = 6 points
speeding = min. 3 points per offence
child restraints = 3 points (i think, not actually sure if you get points)
Under 2 years you get a ban for 6 points after 2 yrs it is 12 points. As you are going to court it is likely with the accumulation of offences you will get 12+ points
and be banned for a year minimum.
And a good thing too. |

How the hell can you be stopped TWICE for no insurance? When you become a driver you have an obligation to know the laws with regard to driving. People like you need to realise that driving is a privilege and NOT a right. By committing these offences you have shown that you have no respect for other drivers and you need to be taken off our roads. I hope they throw the book at you mate! |

Under new legislation, tthe Police can impound your car for driving with no insurance. You can only get the car back if you can produce a certificate of insurance (Not a cover note). You also have to pay for storage and the cost of towing the car to the pound. You can expect on top of this 6 points, £260 fine and diqualified for 12 months. This will be effective from the date of the court hearing.
You are playing a dangerous game not having insurance. What if you had knocked down and killed a pedestrian. that would be classed as manslaughter then. |

What a total as*hole and waste of space. I hope you get a life ban and a crippling fine for being so stupid. It's us mugs that have to pay the price of your ignorance and arrogance, you know, the stupid ***** that actually pay tax, insurance etc. No body cares if you kill yourself but people like you have a bad habit of surviving but kill an awful lot of innocents. Does that not bother you? obviously not or you would have learned your lesson the first time. |

what kind of a prat are you, not only are you putting all our lives in danger by speeding, we have no insurance to claim once you have injured us and on top of all that you think nothing of speeding when you have your 6 year old sister who is not even strapped in safe.
i hope they ban you for life |

Both speeding and insurance points are effective from the date of the offence. I'm not sure about the child restraint. |

presumably you are nursing 6 points and a £200 fine from the last time you had no insurance.. Now another 6 points and £200. This takes you to 12 points, immediate disqualification.
Then we come to the speeding...usually 6 points for 20 over the limit.
3 points and £60 for the lack of seat belt for the child who was in your care.....
I've no idea what the fine would be for the speeding, hopefully more then the cost of a years's insurance policy, this might teach you.
Lastly, hopefully you had your car seized for no insurance and had to pay a fortune to get it back ...... |

Each no insurance offence carries a minimum of six Penalty points (Road Traffic Offenders Act 1988 Schedule 2). Both offences were committed during your "probationary period", in terms of the Road Traffic (New Drivers) Act 1995.
You're therefore liable to both revocation under the 1995 Act and disqualification under the RTOA.
Top tip: Next time you drive a car (in 2010), have insurance in place. |
