Honey wake up and do the right thing for you and your baby...get rid of him or get used to him not being around because this is going to be a habit.

He is telling you a bunch of BS - you do not usually get on probabtion for somebody's medication in your car....... he had a controlled substance at school - shows he is not bright.

Secondly - if you have to go to court for something - you are given notice - as does your Probation officer. For whatever reason your boyfriend either forgot or chose not to show up.

He needs to straighten up now, play by the rules and clean up his act to be deserving of being in your life and your child's.

He may not be telling you the truth. You don't go to jail for a adhd prescription. You may not have the full story. This guy may not be good for you. I'd seek more info.

I won't comment about your relationship with this guy, that's your business. Nor will I comment about the thing about it being someone else's drugs in his car. The fact remains that he either was convicted of the charge and they placed him on probation OR he took a plea deal en lieu of going to trial. Either way, the first two things don't matter.

This is what does matter, per your question, how long before he can get out. Answer, when he posts the bond for the bail. His bond (or bail) has been set at $100K, the court will need all of that money before they'll release him. Before your jaw hits the floor, there is a solution but that's not going to help much either. Bondsmen, or a bail bond company, will let you give them 10-20% of the bond and they post the rest. Not sure how they make money, but I know that's how it works.

So, you'll need to come up with $10-20K, which I am sure you don't have as most don't, to give to a bail bond company before he can get out of jail.

Now, from state to state, I am not sure if this varies. This is how it works in TX and I can't imagine it's so different from state to state.

I can't believe that anyone would forget to appear in court, especially if they are on probation, unless they are retarded to begin with! You don't say what charges are responsible for the $100,000 bail? Must be pretty bad!

How much time did he have left on his probation? It makes a difference, because he can be sent to jail/prison for that time left, in addition to whatever time he gets on this last charge!

Do youself, and especially your baby, a favor. Forget about this looser and move on with your life! He'll never never amount to a tinkers damn! I'll guarantee he will be in and out of jail and prison for the rest of his life! Is that what you want for your child?

If he is on probation, I am sure his probation officer "mentioned" that to him. I would find someone else to go with you for the birth.

You need to find him a good lawyer. If you can't afford one, call the public defender's office or your local legal aid office.

look i know this does not sound good but my wife and i have gone through the same thing. i am on probation for criminal damage of property and obstruct of legal process. the books and law will not tell you this but from personal experience. the probation will not get revoked unless charged with a new case, or they have revoked your probation more thatn twice. yes it will take time for them to get what they want done. first appearances and bond setting, etc. i know it takes time, sighs, i've been there. so just hold strong and all will be well. some court will allow them to be there during pregnancy so request that of the judge.

look girl everything will be ok first of all your man should have went to his court date there is nothing u can do but try to stay faithful and send him pics of the babe and try to see him as much as possible and he will get out eventually GOD BE WITH YALL !!!!
