I have an apartment and no longer feel safe due to my estrange husband finding my location and knocking on my door all hours o f the night at times I am afraid to leave this just happen can I break lease legally.

No. It's not the landlords fault you had bad taste in men.
Here's what you do.
1. Buy a pistol (if you can, legally) and learn to use it. Keep it handy.
2. Buy a shotgun and learn how to use it. Keep it handy.
3. If it is allowed, get a good med-large dog. Chows, Rottweilers and German Shepherd are good choices. Show it pictures of your hubby while feeding it.
4. Start dating large ominous-looking men. Bikers, and Marines are a good place to start. They'll keep him away.

You have to notify the landlord (give notice)and make sure you can PROVE it....just saying it after the fact will NOT protect you....to many people come up with excuses after they do it for other reasons....and go to the police as well get it on record |
