In Wisconsin your car must adhere to the rules of the state it's registered in. So you would not get a ticket. |

What's legal in one state, may be illegal in another. Check before you cross state lines. It could get costly. |

If it is illegal where you are, then yes you can get a fine and be made to pay it.
It's the same as asking 'can they fine me for speeding in Massachusetts if I'm driving a car that's registered in New York?'
the answer is yes. |

Yes. You are required to abide by the laws of the state you are currently in. |

I don't have any basis for this. It's just an assumption, but I would say yes. |

not as long as your windscreen isn't tinted. windows don't matter :) |

yes, although I don't know many cops that would do that. |

Technically the answer is yes but the odds of being stopped with out of state plates is slim to none, and none left town! Imagine the effect on tourism?
No - the local cops have enough to worry about and will leave you alone. If however you have moved to the new state and are simply lazy and have not gone to DMV for new plates a local cop may notice ( small town problem!) and cite you. |

Sure. You can also get a fine for failing to register your car where you live. Most states allow a pretty brief time to reregister a car brought in from out of state - as little as 10 days. |

A friend of mine was pulled over recently and asked to remove the tint right there on the side of the road.. he provided a razor blade and she stood on the highway and removed hundreds of dollars worth of tint because it was too dark.. This was a State Highway Patrol Officer and she was local to that state.
I dont think its legal for a officer to make you remove super dark tint if you are just passing thru the state. If you do get pulled over and he asks you to remove it there I WOULD..but if you get a fine i would fight it in court if its not illegal in your state and thats the main area you will be driving in..
hope this helps
