Can I get into a bar without a driver's license?

I lost my license (physically lost, not had-taken-away) and it'll be about two weeks until the new one comes it. I don't have a 'state id'. Is there something else I can use to get into a bar? I live in Maine.
(And I'm really sorry if this is the 'wrong' category to post this question in, it's a hard one to define!)

Aw, crap. Don't have a passport, either. S.O.L.? Guess I'll just have to stay in for a couple of weeks :P

Legally? No. Some bars aren't very strict but without a legal state issued ID a bar doesn't have to allow you into their establishment. Some might accept some other form of ID or not ID you at all but if you get caught in the bar, they pay the priced for it.
Some might take Passports or Military IDs but no bar is required to take them, they are privately owned businesses and they can decide what they allow. |
