Yes, you can.

You may not be the only one who observed this. The more complaints they get on a driver, the more likely they will do something about it.

Next time call right away, the driver may be drunk, not valid to drive, or both.

Yes you can. Since you are the witness or "complaining party" , you must fill out a statement, and agree to appear in court and testify as to what happened. If not, the officer that received the complaint cannot do anything about it because he didn't witness the incident, you did.

Absolutely!!! Make the call & keep someone else from getting hit or worse. Then, you can sleep at night, knowing you did the right thing. Some years ago, my husband & I were behind a car that was swerving all over the road. We stayed behind him, realizing that to pass him could be a fatal mistake. I got on my cell phone, called the police department, & told the dispatcher what the make of the car was, the color, the license plate number, etc. We followed the car, right to his house, while still in touch with the police dispatcher. We were happy to see the police car drive up.

you can report it but if you are in the uk i doubt anything will be done (maybe a vist and a kicking by the cops). as you are not a qualifed traffic cop your definition of reckless driving maybe diffrent what is written in law.

next time just through a brick at the window; it;s dangerous but at least you would feel better

I shouldn,t bother, the "police" won,t do anything about, anyway, there,s a 1 in twenty chance that it WAS a copper!!

Definitely. Either by dialing 911, or some agencies have a number (in Florida *FHP, where I live it's *47) that if dialed from a cell phone, connect the call to the Highway Patrol. Provide them with description of vehicle, direction of travel, and tag, if you have it.

you can report him to thepolice , or there is a website you can report drivers like to and they will be on show for the world to see, name and shame... its called betterdrivingplease
