Spying how? Is there surveillance equipment pointed at your house? Are you being followed from place to place? Or, do you just happen to live next to the NSA? That would do it to.
Then there comes the question of how you know WHY they're spying. Did you ask "Why are you spying on me?" and get the answer "Because of your opinion of the Iraq War."? Because if that's the case, the next step in the conversation could reasonable by "Please stop spying on me, it's creepy." and perhaps they'd understand.
I don't think a lawsuit is really going to help you in this case, and civil rights are to protect us from the government, not eachother. |

What exactly do you mean by "spying"? Some things that are construed as spying are illegal and some things are not. Not respecting another person's opinion simply because you disagree is rather immature. Do you mean noisy as in loud or nosy as in snoopy? You can sue for pretty much anything but it doesn't mean you'll win. Take them to Judge Judy and let her yell at them for awhile. Then again, if she finds your allegations stupid, she will yell at you. |

Can you put together a coherent sentence? |

In order to sue you need to show damages.
Did you report them to the police for making excessive noise?
Do you have evidence that they are spying?
Without damages/proof you don't have any case. |

Try writing the question out completely, and in English so we may answer it for you.
Your neighbors are SPYING on you? How are they doing this? How do you know? What do they do to you to be classifying it as "spying"? |

Okay, the noisy part you can sue, or just call the cops when they are making noise past 10 PM (in most places.) For spying on you, you can sue them if they are invading your privacy, looking in your windows, trespassing on your property (in most places.) Actually, (in the US) you can sue anybody for anything you want. Whether or not you win in court is another matter, but you can sue whenever you want. |

as long as they stay in their property or on public land not much you can do unless their behavior arise to level of harassment |

Depends what you mean by spying...
If they just watch you through the window then no. Just close your blinds.
I think it is funny and appropriate that someone who has neighbors spying on them for being against the Iraq war (which ended a while ago BTW) is now asking if their civil rights have been violated. Now you're considering hiring some glorified ambulance chaser to sue? Hilarious how it all comes together. |

If they are spying on you, you can call the police and charge them with stalking. |

Sure why not...in this country the system is set up in such a way that you can sue anybody or anything...except politicians....then you get skrud....... |

You would have to have proof that it was them. If they are just looking into your window or something all you can probably do is call the police for tresspassing. I really honestly doubt you can sue them for spying. You would have to have some hardcore proof that they were. |
