Not only can you be pulled over because you look too young, you can also be stopped if you appear to be too short. |

Turning 16 does NOT mean you can drive alone. You have to pass the test for your drivers license to drive alone. 16 used to be the standard age to be allowed to take the test. State laws vary WIDELY these days. Even if I knew the answer in MY state, it is probably wrong in yours. |

Yes they can. |

Man of Steel

Yes. As long as he has reasonable suspicion that a traffic infraction is being committed. You'll lose your drivers permit and probably have to wait until your 18. |

I live in Connecticut. A few weeks ago, four teenagers died in a car accident because the teenage driver was speeding and lost control. Then a couple weeks ago, three teenagers died in a car accident in another town because the teenage driver decided to pass a truck pulling a boat trailer and slammed into a box truck going the other way. Then a 16 year old girl who had no driver's license stole a car and was driving erratically. A cop pursued her, then dropped back because she just kept driving faster. She totalled the car and died.
You don't have a license to drive by yourself for a reason. You don't have the experience. I know you probably don't agree. I was in your shoes once. I remember close calls I had because I didn't react well in different situations. Please just learn how to drive and do it legally and responsibly. There are far too many children dying needlessly. Don't let it be you. |

Yes we can. If it looks like you are breaking the law that is enough of a reason to pull you over. |
|

That one girl...
 |
Yes.
Police can pull you over for "reason for/of suspicion". If they have any reason to doubt your age, BINGO.
Its crap, I know. |

A lot, you will probably lose your learners and be banned for a period of time. |

You can get a ticket for violating conditions and lose your license for 6 months or more. |

I hope you get pulled over and fined. Being in control of a motor vehicle is a huge responsibility. You are too young and clearly irresponsible. You are endangering the lives of others. Grow up first. |

I'm pretty sure you'll lose your permit until your 18. I think a cop CAN pull you over for looking too young, but I doubt it. I personally wouldn't chance losing my permit to drive alone.
Also, I think the other person in the car has to be 21 years old. |

You can get in a lot of trouble driving alone do not risk it |

Depending on the state there can be different consequences especially if you are in an accident one that is common is that you can lose your permit and not be able to get a license till you are twenty one |

a cop can pull you over for whatever reason he chooses if you have done something wrong or not...it could be a car problem like a light out...but if you're not old enough to drive alone, he most certainly can pull you over and get your parents involved in them letting you drive alone...not a good situation to be in if you want to get your license eventually...it's illegal to drive without a driver who has 5 yrs experience if you only have a learner's permit... |

Big, BIG trouble, man.
NOT worth it!
They can pull you over for looking too young, don't risk it! |

Yes, they can pull you over and get you in deep trouble. be happy that you have only 90 days. I still have to wait a few years! I hope those days go quickly! |

A cop can pull you over if he feels something is not right. It depends what the driving rules are for your state, but you may get your license or permit taken away until you're 21. |

That happened to a frined of mine right after he turned 16. He looked young and got pulled over because of it. |

A cop can pull you over if they have "probable cause" and that includes if you look to young to be driving. You could get your permit taken away from you and delay the time were you could get your actual license. |

Yes you wold probably get in trouble im not exactly sure though |

Court will take your driving permit away and you will not be able to drive until you turn 18 year old. If you fail to follow the court order you might go to JUV |

Yes, and huge trouble. |

yes a cop can pull anyone over on any suspicion, odds are they won't
i wouldn't worry, you're only gonna be in trouble if you get in an accident |

Cops can pull you over for any reason. I would not chance driving by yourself b/c it is breaking the law and they can take your license away. |

a cop cant pull you over because you look young. they have to have a reason. so for example if your speeding or you have a broken tail light. if you get pulled over for anything like that then you can get in trouble if you dont have a license. if you have a permit, you have to be driving with a parent/gardian or someone who is 25 or older i think is the age. my dad is a cop. so i know. |
