No they will not reject the app and yes they know if you've been incarcerated. There are 2 types of disability, SSI for people with little income or resources and not much work history, and SS disability where your benefit is based on your work credits and past income. For SSI, a felony history does not impact your claim at all. For SS disability, it may impact your claim if the reason you are disabled is the result of something that happened during the commission of the felony or subsequent incarceration. Anything that happened then does not count. |

Yes they can. I believe the application asks if you've been convicted in the last 7 years and if you put yes I don't think it affects anything. |
