There is no requirement to have that information on the ticket at the time it is issued. The information can always be added later. He may just have omitted it at the time of the stop to send you on your way quicker.
However, if you appear for trial, and the officer can not identify the unit he was using, it would be an issue. |

Probably not. cops can do whatever the hell they want to. Who is going to stop them. I applaud those officers who do right by the law, but there are some shady ones out there. |

Yes. You can fight it, and win easily. The officer has to put the name the number and the last time it was tested on your ticket. Fight it and tell the judge this information was not put on the ticket, so the radar gun was "wrong" in calculating your speed so how do you know it was tested recently to be accurate. |
