Yes!
You can get charged with Aggravated Battery with a weapon for using a pillow to beat someone if it causes serious injury.
Example... Possession of a pencil is never a crime.
Take that pencil out of your pocket and stab some one in the eye with it and you are getting charged with a weapons possession charge and Aggravated Battery with a weapon! |

If you can hit someone with it, it is a weapon. |

I dunno ... I think most things can be used as a weapon, but I have a hard time imagining a district attorney arguing 'Jell-o' (par example) is a 'weapon.' |

Indeed it can. Just look around the common school classroom , there are plety of good ones. One of the best stabbing tools is a sharpened pencil, what about the baseball bat used for sport? What about pointed scissors? |

Sure. I could stuff a pound of spaghetti down your throat and suffocate you. The human mind will always be capable of finding new and unusual ways in which to extinguish another persons life. |

There are two types of weapons, aggression and defensive.
The weapon is determined by what you have available to accomplish or solve one's desire to solve one's need for each individual event. Usually aggressive weapons are weapons you have in your tool box call a mind. Defensive weapons or the split second response base on flight or fight.
In other words your body becomes the first weapon in both situations. Not all things can be weapons, the events are forever changing. Aggression or defensive skills follow no certain rules or tools for engagement. Even a smile can be a weapon. |

pretty much.. a long handles comb with point can poke an attackers eye out.. a set of keys can damage his face or eyes...broom stick to the gut..old fashioned fryin pan to the head works wonders to a burglar...pencil to the throat, you name it anything heavy and in your hand can be used to hurt some one... |

Yes, anything can be considered a weapon once one makes their intentions known to use it as a weapon.
i.e. - if you tell someone that you are going to smother them with a pillow, the pillow just became a weapon. |

Pretty much. When they brought up the 'assault weapon' issue a few years back, I was thinking 'I could assault someone pretty good with a rock'. That law is only effective against criminals. |

Like a feather? Or a leaf or something? Possibly, if you know that someone is allergic to the feather or the plant, then it is a weapon.
It might be hard to make an argument that something was used as a weapon in some situations. However, it is easy to see how a pen could be used as a weapon- to stab someone, or a phone could be used to hit someone with. A tongue could also be used to harm someone by saying something that harms someone. So, lots of things could potentially be weapons, but I'm not sure if you can say that everything can be used as a weapon.
Is this what you are asking? |

Most definitely. It all depends on your intent and the manner in which you use it. |

No. Only things in the solar system. For the most part, only the sun and things on the earth. You could not use Pluto or Alpha Centauri as weapons. They are too far away. (The sun can be used as a weapon if you focus its rays to start a fire or if you keep someone in it to make them get sunburn or heatstroke.) |
