Can father go to jail if he abuses me?

Say for example if i'm pregnant, like 3-4 weeks pregnant. And I tell my dad that I'm pregnant and he gets upset and hits the sh*t out of me. And I have a miscarriage, can he go to jail for that? Like can i take him to jail??

oh god no im not pregnant, but i asked my dad what would he do if i was and he would beat the crap out of me. And that almost brought me to tears. And he said he can do anything because he's my father and its his choice for me to keep the baby.

Your dad is trying to use a scare tactic to keep you from doing something utterly stupid. That doesn't mean it's ok to go get yourself pregnant. He will have a hard time trying to figure out how to handle it.

sounds like you are. Go to a teen counseling center, or a women's center, and get some one there to talk to him first. If you send your dad to jail you will alienate him from you and his grandchild. So don't be stupid, think about your future.

I wouldn't have a problem knowing what to do. It's easy...YOU make a baby, YOU raise the baby. done.
