i was driving down a hill and i noticed a bus and i had to slam on my brakes or i would have not been able to stop in time as it had its red lights flashing and stop sign out. I was barely able to stop intime and was about 6 feet from the front of the bus. The bus driver was looking very cross at me and he had a piece of paper and looked like he was writting something down but i did stop about 3 to 6 feet before the bus and didnt pass it at all can i get in trouble?

The violation is for "failing to stop for bus stop arm", but you did stop. You should be okay.

If you passed the back of the bus, you violated the law.

You were driving too fast OR you were not paying attention....

you realy do not have any thing to worry about because you stopped . but in the future you might want to pay more attention and not go so fast.
