call me immature, but me and some friends where laying some rubber down in a parking lot and we saw this guy in a crown vic. i thought he might have been a cop, but i was certain that he was not after checking it out closer.
after we had some fun, the other car drove in our direction, stopped, then left.
i have a feeling he took down my plate info. if this guy reports my actions and plate info to the police, could i get in trouble?
i wasnt sure if someone could just call up, give a plate number and complain.

doing donuts does leave black marks on the ground, but it washes off - eventually

not unless they can prove that the tire tracks are from that car. most people won't care what you do in a parking lot unless its really weird or disgusting.
hope that the guy wasn't a cop but you don't really know because some people want to buy crown vics these days. |

So far the most you describe doing wrong is trespassing. Unless you were causing other trouble, I doubt you will have a problem.
And yes, they can. Furthermore the police might be able to verify it against tire tracks and rubber. |

If they can match the tire tracks to your car, or if it was all filmed, then they can't prove anything, so no, nothing can happen to you. |

Unless they/he/she filmed it, or there are easy-to-notice tire tracks, there would be no evidence of that happening and you got nothing to worry about. |

Well, someone took my license plates down when I threw a water balloon off a building and I got pulled over and arrested. (it didn't hit anyone or anything) but they didn't have anything else to do. They didn't have it on film or ANYTHING! But since they didn't pull you over driving back home, I think you are in the clear!! Plus what you did isn't even bad. |

No police department on planet earth has the time, or resources to waste on the forensic examination of tire tracks in order to chase down some guy who was reported, third party, to have been doing donuts in a parking lot. Gimme a break.
