ok so a while back i got arrested for harrashment but i never got convicted it was dropped because i never done it but i have a driving conviction which is spent conviction which i got when i was 17 i am now joining the british army but i was wornding when i leave the army do u think i get a change of geting a job as a police officer i was hoping to go for the met police i live in midlands but i want to move down to london to join the met police

No conviction so no problem, even if you were convicted of a minor crime the Met disregards convicions by those under 18, each force differs though. |

The police are very nit picky, and I would say you would run into some trouble with your background check. Explain for sure, but I would say no Bro. I'm sorry, I hope I'm wrong. |
