ok say a man put in jail on old charges and he lost his house and every thing for no reason is there any thing he could do to get his life back on track? contact me if more info is needed.

How about this:
You post a sufficient amount of information to be able to provide you with an answer, and then nobody has to chase you down to give you the answer you're looking for?
But you can probably save yourself the time. Just the little bit of information you've posted here would seem to indicate there is no simple answer to your question regarding this situation. Consulting with legal counsel is like to be the only way you're going to get a qualified answer.
That said, yes...a jail can be sued and they routinely are. Probably not for what you're describing here, but they can be and are sued regularly.
Courts normally aren't subject to lawsuits because if they were, we'd have judges being sued for doing their jobs. |

this is the reason people don't want to go to jail, they loose everything, if your saying he went to jail but was not guilty then no you can't sue (well you could try, but you wouldn't win) |
