Can somebody please help a brother out?

Okay I may not be your brother but I am someones brother. Anyway I keep getting these calls about renewing my new car warranty because it's going to expire. They never tell me what company they are with and when I ask them which car they are referring to. They spout off a few model years and then ask me which one fits my car.
I don't own a new car. Heck I don't even own a car,truck,boat,jet ski, not even a skateboard. I think this is a scam but I don't know who to report it to. I did get the # of the last person that called somewhere in Tn. Any ideas?

Don't even bother with the police, they won't be interested or even understand.

It's definitely a scam, they've started pulling that one a lot recently. Not sure who to report it to. But try pretending to press 'hold' (make a clicking noise) then ask for a trace on the call. Maybe that'll freak them out a little.

me too!!!!! just press the button to talk to a person ( if you listen they give that option) and tell them it is illegal to make calls like that to your phone

hehe,, ,that happens to me all the time, and I do not really give my number. so just ignore it, and if they call you again don't answer.
When i do, and they start talking i just hung up. I know it sounds rude, but they haven't called me in a while...

It's a scam. Just press "2" and hang up the phone. Then register your number on the Do Not Call list.

yea its a scam, but id just ignore it, the news has been talking about that for a while, and if you don't have a vehicle you got nothin to worry about g.

Augh, I get that call too! I just hang up, don't know what more I could do!
I get that call 2 times a day!

I get them ALL the time.They are the biggest pain in the A**.Don't bother talking to them just hang up.It isn't a scam it's just telemarketers.hahahaha Same thing as far as I'm concerned.
