No matter what the registered owner will get the ticket! I had a designated driver drive my car and he ran thru a speed cam and it want off ..2 weeks later I got the ticket in the mail with info to contest it and i did I had the burden of proof it wasnt me driving and later tell the court that it wasn't me I had to show up to court with my friend (designated driver) with his license info cause i wasn't gonna take the fall he got the point ..nevertheless its your car your responsibility the pic takes pics of the driver here in CA and pretty darn good ones matched him up to a T...$375 fine I felt bad but he should not have been speeding. |

Nope. No picture of you being seen when you are sitted in one of the back seats. Why you asked? The car with you in have been involved in some kind of violation isn't it that is why you are asking this kind of question. Well the car has been identified with but you were not in the picture of course because you were sitted in one of the back seats, good for you. But the driver is not. He could even tell the police your name or your address if he is asked who is the occupant of the car during that time. |

The cameras are aimed at the plates of a car, and a computer adjusts the image to focus in on it no matter the speed. If it did capture somebody in the back seat, it would be blurry and out of focus in contrast to the plate number. If somebody is telling you they caught you on camera speeding in the back seat with a photo cop, then they are lying. |
