Can the officers at a police station do this?

I was arrested for receiving stolen property when at the police station cause I didn't have the money to be bailed out The officer took me to be searched. When I refused to remove my clothes well my attitude did help much cause they way I moved the officer thought I was going to hit her two other officers grab me and held me down and the there officer strip off my clothing.

I know what I did was not very smart but can the officers hold me down and strip search me I thought they could not touch you during a search?
(yes all the officers in the room were females)

If you are refusing to be strip searched, they can physically strip you. That is not illegal and is a common occurrence. You should have cooperated.

Of course they can touch you. That is how a search is conducted.

yes. They can strip search and even do cavity searchs. If you comply with them they will usually just strip you to your underwear, if you fight with them and tick them off, they will strip you down all they way.

Where were you in a prison or a police station, I didn't know they could strip search you in a police station at all.

I thought they do a primary search pat down ect and when you get to the prison you get the whole strip search.

I guess they do it a lot more than I thought. . .

Nope.

You found the loophole in the law. Officers aren't allowed to search you if you refuse *ESPECIALLY* when under arrest.

I recommend you pay an attorney some money and ask him this question.
