Oh yes.... especially if there are minors involved... all they need is probable cause to enter the property. |

Yes, if they have reason to think you're breaking the law (like violating noise ordinances, underage drinking, using of narcotics). They'll ask you to open the gate before coming in, but if you refuse, they'll force it open. |

short answer: yes.
long answer: YES. the police have full authority to enter your property and close down a party, and arrest any person that they reasonably suspect of breaking the law. (police powers and responsibilities act 2000)
the only time they require a warrant is if they want to search the property. however, they can get around a warrant by using the drugs misuse act of 1987. which states any police officer who reasonably suspects that illegal drugs are on a person or property may search such person or property, with reasonable suspicion. |

the police can break up any party if there is reason to, such as a noise complaint from a neighbor or if there has been a report of illegal actions. |

If your neighbor filed a complaint, the police are obligated to investigate. Yes, they can come onto your property to investigate and arrest those who are breaking the law (underage drinking or posession, etc).
That's just the way it is. |

They can bust any party they want even if you live in a fortress lol. As long as they have a report, warrant or complaint of some kind. Ask for a report before letting them in, they can't enter your house without one of these. |

yes they can, especially if someone called and complained about loud music. |

the police would ask permission from the owners of the propery and/or whoever appeared to be in charge to be allowed to enter the property. And more than likely it would be granted. |

They can if they have reasonable suspession that a crime is being committed or about to be comitted. Or they have a reliable witness to a crime being comitted or about to be comitted. |
|

Foxy

Yes, if you are breaking the law. Disturbing the peace, underage drinking reported and if they come to check out the disturbance and t is loud they can attempt to reach the property owner to stop the disturbance and if they don't can come on to the property and arrest people for disturbing the peace. Usually the will make a verbal request to quiet down and check the status of the party and if that doesn't happen will come back and arrest people. If there are illegal drugs or underage drinking going on people can be arrested. |
|

Only if they think there is illegal activity going on. I doubt they'll call the swat team out for a noise complaint. |
|

Paul Z
|
uhhh yeah, all they need is probable cause or a noise complaint |

If you are doing something illegal, or if there is probable cause that you are doing something illegal, the police can bust the party.
Let me guess... Underage drinking??? That's WAY too easy for cops to bust if that was it. Loud teenagers, neighbors file a noise complaint, police come to tell you to quiet down and catch someone throwing up in the front lawn and beer cans littered all over the place... Easy arrests.
Sorry if that isn't the case. Please tell us more so we can actually assess the issue. |

if they have a warrant they can. they really cant arrest people unles they see you guys doing naything but if someone calls them for being 2 noisy they will come knock on the door and ask you to be quiet and from there if they see something illegal they can get a warrant and go inside just if ur having a party have fun just dont be loud or load enough that people call cops, have fun |
