Freedom of Speech? No, I think not. As stated in the constitution, you are only free to the extent that you do not infringe upon someone else's freedom. That means that you can say as many "Hail Hitler's" and be as racist as you want as long as you don't expose anyone else to it. You have the right to be a narrowminded racist but everyone else has the right to not have to listen to it. You are being arrested because what you are doing is classified as a hate crime. the answer is yes the police are legally allowed to beat you up it is under a law made in 1947 called the "votre un robinet" law after a french man called mssr votre un bâtard where after the 2nd WW anyone being a member of the Nazi party inciting hatred was legally allowed to be beaten up.....it was to stop the nazi party becoming powerful.
