Yes.We can tell if they are suspended,and any other criminal history by simply running the plate.That is,assuming that you are the registered owner of that vehicle.

If you aren't the registered owner,and I pull you over,I can still access the same information.

If the vehicle is registered to you a few taps on a laptop and an officer can find out your life story.

So yes, however if you are driving someone else's car that is a different story.

Don't drive with a suspended license, get a work permit and ride with friends for fun.

We can tell that information about the registered owner(s) of the vehicle. We can also get a complete criminal history on them.

It's a different story though if you aren't the registered owner. We don't have positive ID yet until we talk to you. If you're driving your parent's or friend's car, any information we get back prior to a traffic stop will be about them, not you.

They can tell if the owner of the car is suspended. They have no idea who is driving until after they stop the car.
