i am transgender, so i am a male who wears female clothing and acts and looks like a female. but my mom thinks that the CPS is going to take her children away if i wear female clothing, because she thinks that they'll think that it is not good around the children.
i thought the CPS can only take your children away if they are physically or emotionally being abused or neglected or if they are in any immediate danger? am i correct.

I agree with your thought. I am in law enforcement, just because people do not agree with your ideas or preferences doesnt mean the kids are in danger. |

I'm going to say, it depends. Just like anything else you may have a CPS investigator or administrator that has a hard on for transgenders, single parents, cross dressers or whatever. Then you can have problems and in some of the more backward states the problems could last.
In most normal places just being a transgender parent is not cause for any type of problem from officaldom. |

CPS can be called for ANY reason....however, as others have stated, CPS wouldn't have a case against you unless you are found to be guilty of abuse on neglect. |
