It's not the police you need to worry about...but the person you sent the prank text to!
If that person filed a complaint for harassing communication...they would be required to make the formal complaint. |

Depending on what all was said, yes you can get in trouble with the police. Just like if you do prank phone calls. Texting just provides more solid proof of what you did. All they have to do is save the text messages and go to the police station and file a harassment report against you. |

Yeah, you could but if you live in an area where there is a lot more serious crime, then they probably won´t do too much about it, if anything. They probably have more important things to worry about than a prank text. |

Well... Prank calls are very fun. But not a smart idea. Yes you could get introuble for prank calling.. but if your friends were really friends then they wouldn't call the police.. and in return we suggest you apologize :)

yes you could for harrassment non loyalty and lying. they expect you to be a TRUE friend not a fake friend. if their you real friends they would forgive you not call the cops! so i sugest you dont do that. you shouldnt even prank EMAIL!! |
