Can you give me a few suggestion what we can do to rapists and drug dealers?

Those are two very different crimes, and should be handled completely differently. For rapists, I think it's important to have strong laws that can provide a jury with lots of different choices about what degree of rape was committed, that way they can get more convictions for rapists.

You can protect yourself and your loved ones by being educated and aware of how/why they (criminals) operate, and where. Don't be a fool and take the law into your own hands (do things that are against the law to these people)..let law enforcement do their jobs. If you want to help, it's possible you can work with your law enforcement community (but you'd better follow their rules)- you might be able to be an informant, or help organize a neighborhood crime watch. But be careful, don't take things "too far" because if you do, you're in danger of being in trouble with the law yourself. If you're not clear on what you can and cannot legally do, set up an appointment with the chief of police in your town, and ask. Help from the community is generally appreciated but not when the help adds to the burden the officers are already carrying- in other words, commit no criminal acts yourself, or you're not helping the problem, you're making it bigger. If you're not careful, your interference may result in criminal evidence being tampered with or deemed inadmissible, and that criminal may walk instead of being successfully prosecuted. There are many dangers to taking the law into your own hands, some of which can result in exactly the opposite outcome that you, yourself desire (getting these criminals off the streets!) So educate yourself, talk to local law enforcement, find out what you can and cannot legally do to help, and get their input on how best to protect your family from drugs/drug dealers and psychopaths. Don't let your rage cause you to do something you may seriously live to regret.

EDIT: If you believe that punishments are too lenient for these types of criminals, you can use your political power as a citizen and organize a group to lobby the government for "stiffer" consequences for specific criminal acts. You can effect change, if you can amass enough people together who believe the same thing and who are willing to fight politically for what they believe in. It's no easy task. Some things can take years to change. But if you believe in what you're doing, and you can find the support of the majority, you can, in this democracy, affect change.

Drug dealers are performing a service. The US is spending billions of dollars on the 'War on Drugs', focussing all their attention on the supply end. What needs to be focussed upon is the demand side. If we could tackle the problem of drug users in the country, the supply would simply go away. Simple economics....

As for rapists....two words...General Population. Many believe that it is cruel and inhumane to put those types of criminals in with the violent criminals who will violate and kill the rapists. But hey, they were the predators in our society, so let them deal with the predators in the prison society. I think its only fair...

Ask family reps that have had to deal with the trauma, to be in a room with them to dish out their own justice.......it would definitely make them feel better.....as to Paed put a load of mothers in a room and let them do the same thing......

For drug dealers, the same as they do in the Far East, Death Penalty with no appeals.
Rapists, Let the victim's parents have them for 5 minutes with a rusty bread Knife to castrate them, then jail them FOR LIFE (and I mean LIFE).

put them on a giant "death raft " a huge wood barge with a bunch of weapons and TV cameras let them go at it and make it a reality TV show at the end of the show only one will survive and he gets to go back to prison :)

Start more programs for children that teach them right from wrong and respect for themselves and others. Deal with it before it becomes a problem instead of trying to fix it after the fact.

I know this would not be a feasible answer to the world problems but think about it...Honestly, I would love to bring back public hanging and executions. Just like in the old days. Sure they had crimes but it was far less than what we encounter today. Public executions would put fear back into people and that would keep them from committing such crimes. Fear is what keeps us in line. (Being pulled over is not what you fear, it's the fine or higher insurance. Being Arrested is not what you fear but being locked up and the fines that go with it, not to mention someones girl in shower) A public execution first thing in the morning..What a way to wake up! lol

rapists, are another story. Drug dealers can be talking about non-violent crime and therefore should not get nearly as much time as a rapist. But with our governments view on drugs, both get a long time. (depending on what kind of drugs were talking about dealing)

well in the UK we could try putting them in Prison but apparently the 2 hours of community service is "sufficient punishment" according to the gouvernment... I remember a class A drug dealer got an ASBO in the town where I live... I'd love to see what you would get for planting a nail Bomb in Mcdonalds..... 20 hours community service and a Â£60 fine????????

yeah can we add murderers to the list too??? ...we should use them for medical & beauty experimentation.. easy really... after 30 years of service if you still alive you can then go to a hard labour prison!!!

Chances are that their parents didn't love them either.
These kids need to be identified early in school.

The Bible has an answer for this. We should give them a fair trial(like the God's Law says we are supposed to, this is why I think Jesus was peved and said let he who is without sin cast the first stone, they were sinning, she was never given a trial, WOMAN WHERE ARE YOUR ACUSERS!) Now if they are found guilty they should be given the death penalty. But I feel this should only happen if they are found guiltey with conceate evidence. The Bible required two or more witnesses. I would except video footage along with a tape recording as being just as if not more concreate then eye witness testmony. Also false witnesses should recieve the same punishment the person they falseley accused would have gotten if convicted......but they must recieve a fair trial as well.
