Yes, and in Texas that would be considered a State jail felony, that will result in you sent to jail for a calender year, no good time, or 2 for 1....Anything over 50.00 will get you put in jail for a class b misdemeanor and above. |

Yes. And depending on how you stole it, it could be for a LONG LONG TIME, especially if you stole it at gunpoint. That's called armed ROBBERY.
But that's probably a felony and that won't put you at the county jail level, but in a state PRISON.
