what happens if you cant make one of your payments to the probation officer on time do you go to jail or is there a grace period

Probation is an opportunity for someone to show they can be a responsible member of society. Not making required payments does not demonstrate responsibility.

Contact your PO, and explain the problem. If it is reasonable, he should would with you. If not, he is under no obligation to give you a grace period.

Talk to your probation officer and make arrangements, otherwise you COULD be arrested for contempt of court

Contact the probation office or the clerk of court. Explain that you are not able to make a payment and ask if it is possible to change your payment date or if there is a way to defer the payment until a later time. You need to speak with the probation office AND the court.
