Caught stealing, received letter to pay a $300 fine?

I'm a minor and I got caught stealing 2 months ago. I have just recieved a letter saying I have to pay a 300$ Fine. I learned my lesson (No need to tell me I'm a horrible kid) I Don't want my parents to pay the fine. I want to pay it myself. So far I have 100$ and need another $300. Are there any fast ways to make $200 in 30 days? Thank you.

This is very odd. You got a letter that you need to pay a $300 fine....to who? Did you go to court for this offense? Did the vendor you stole from file police charges? Or was the letter from the vendor, telling you if you don't pay, they'll file police charges?
If the court is saying you need to pay $300, you can do that in installments for what you can afford. All you have to do is talk to the Clerk of Court and they'll get a installment plan ready for you. |

You mean you need another $200, not $300. Well, first ask your parents for the extra $200, then get a job or do chores to repay that debt.
I don't know how people get caught shoplifting, it's so easy. Even with those detectors. I stopped after elementary because it was stupid, luckily. And you should be lucky you only have to pay $300. Here in CA, there are signs on stall doors in restrooms at Wal-Mart, that if you shoplift, you're fined about 1K. |
