Charged with misdemeanor larceny in NC?

Ok so this girl and i were at belks just hangin out..shopping(this was only the 3rd time id ever hung out with this girl) so we get some clothes to try on... and we share a dressing room... like girls do ya know? no big deal... so we try our stuff on and then i see her stuff some underwear in her shoe... and i get real uncomforable and dont know what to do or say so i just say ok lets go..and right then someone came up and stopped us....

long story short she got charged with stealing $85 worth... and i got charged too! even tho i had not stolen anything, and had no intentions of stealing, and did not know she was going to steal, my court date is soon and ive never been in trouble b4... what will happen? what should i do?
