police detection cant be very good if they have to show crimes on a tv programme

I'm not knocking crimewatch but i do wonder what happened to police work
they always show the crimes theyve found imposible to solve or the endless people wanted by the police that they cant locate even though they tell you the area they live in!

That's true! Crimewatch was on every week in the seventies. We used to see our mates on there sometimes. In fact, I still have a watch that was first advertised on that programme!

No actually it's on once a month because they do not want to draw attention to how bad it had become. And you don't need Crimewatch to convince you of that fact.

It takes them a month to view all the cctv in the area, in every block there are 146 cctv cameras.
