The FBI and the State of your residence should have what they call the "UCR" Uniform Crime Report. Every incident that is responded to should and is given a file class which is reported to the FBI for crime statistics. If you ever took prob and stat just remember "Garbage In" "Garbage Out". I've met cops who make 70 grand a year and others that made minimum wage. Understand? FBI UCR... Best bet. |

you might as well ask how many drops of water does it take to fill up a swimming pool...the question is too broad, you could find the separate average numbers for car thefts, murders, and other serious issues, but all crimes as a whole isn't even worth knowing since most are petty crimes...shoplifting, parking tickets, etc... |

That question is impossible to answer. It is impossible to know how many crimes are committed. For example, it is impossible to determine how many people download illegal music and/or movie files on the interent. Impossible to track. |
