DMV ? i have non traffic misdemeanor warrants in a different county.?

my question is when i go to the dmv to renew my license
will they check for warants in a different county or will it just come up
when they take my fingerprint

Warrants are entered in a statewide database. If your DMV runs a check, it will show up.
You didn't mention your state, not all DMV offices run routine checks for warrants. |

The system will automatically check. I just went to renew mine and I was denied===== They told me to pay off my prev tickets and ck into my warrants before they wld renew my license. There was a guy there also who the receptionist made a call and she was acting like she was reviewing his info and filling out papers, when suddenly the police came in an arrested him. This is the first time I've seen anything like this. And my tkt was in another city, but they still wld not let me renew until I come bk with a clearance. Good Luck |

This all depends on the state you live in. Here in Nevada, DMV doesn't do warrant checks when you renew your license, you don't even get finger printed...... however if you do have warrants the courts usually notify the DMV if any of them is for failure to appear and they suspend your driving privileges. |
