If someone carjacks me at gunpoint can i use deadly force if i think i or my family is in danger of being harmed? I have a conceled carrt permit in the state of Mo.

YES i wouldnt think twice about shooting a carjacker...that being said i live in georgia where we dont have to retreat some states require that you try to retreat inorder to use deadly force ...that being said in the case of carjacking at gun point i dont think anyone would argue that you couldnt shoot them. |

yes, if at gun point but remember when you call 911 have your gun back in the houlster, comply with the responding officers, and stay on the phone with 911 operator |

A defense for using deadly force is that there is reasonable fear of immediate death or grievous bodily harm to you, your family, or another innocent victim. At the point in a car jacking where the threat is no longer immediate (say, all your people are out of the car and the perp is driving away) it is too late to still resort to deadly force. |
