there are innumerable ways to do so. all are painful and fatal.
one man successfully did so by tying a rope around his neck and the other end round a tree trunk. driving off at high speed the car continued with him inside until the rope was taut.. it worked and he was decapitated.( rumours have it, it was actually murder and was a cover up as he was a scientist working for the government at the time)

I heard somebody talking today about using some kind of superglue and gluing your hands to your temples. Then doing some other strange stuff and finally jumping and it looks like you pulled your own head off. I didn't catch the whole story, but I'm pretty sure this is some of what he said.

After reading the book 1001 ridiculous ways to die I can tell you that it is very possible. Some people in the past have managed with a chain saw or an axe and a very strong swing and others construct devices with blades and heavy weights. It just takes a determined mind and a lot of Imagination.

Taking something sharp, and cutting off your head...I guess it would be kinda hard to do it to yourself. But he could have dropped something very heavy on his neck, heavy and sharp O.o

Get into your car. Wind the window down, thread the wire through the window. Loop it around your neck, put a few towels around in the car (you don't want to make a big mess, your family will either have to keep using the car or sell it to make a bit of money, In fact maybe plastic sheeting all over the car!!). Anyway back to the fun bit. Once you are comfy, you really want to be comfortable, as well you know it's inconvenient if you are uncomfortable, now matter how short the car journey will be. Then I guess you stick the car into gear and see how far you can go!!

The easiest method would be by hanging with an excessively long drop. In an interesting case early in the twentieth century, a man committed suicide in this manner; hid headless body dropped straight to earth but the head rolled into a different coroner's district. This was resolved by the head being reunited with the bode in the district in which the suicide actually occurred.

In the absence of a convenient long drop platform, the action could be simulated by driving with a long rope tied to the neck and (eg) a tree. Onlookers would then be able to witness a modern day headless rider.
