I defintely deserved mine, and I have deserved several more (likely I didn't get all of them). I know when I deserve the ticket and I don't even bother with making up a story, crying, or any other way to try to get out of a ticket. |

It was a toss up. I fought an $80.00 ticket and after a year got it reduced to $15.00. It was not the money, but the principle of the stop and the officer's attitude. That was more than 10 years ago. |

80 in a 55. $177 excessive speed ticket. Absolutely I deserved it! 67 in a 55 6 years prior deserved that one too.
There ARE DUI quotas. My father was an State officer and had to have x number of DUI arrests every month. |

no the timing was off on the red light camera so i was legally in the intersection when it took my pic. I would have gone to court but i was deploying in a few days. The last two i deserved i was speeding, the last two times i have been pulled over i deserved a ticket but i was let go. |

All I did was show up in court with pictures and all, and the prosecutor dropped it in a second.. without even looking at my pictures!

no, as a matter of fact. it was a parking ticket, and the meter either ran fast or wasn't expired at the time the ticket was issued.
but it was only for $25, and they made you jump through no end of hoops to challenge it, and then it's your word against the parking officers. They know most people won't bother for so little money, so they don't worry about screwing the public. |
