I wish we could pull out of the war on drugs. Just "cut & run" as they say. It costs $30 million a day to fight that war and it doesn't make one bit of difference. People will always get drugs. If not legally then from the underground. What a waste of money as well as lives.

Yes, but only the official "Government Issue" variety that sells for $20/ounce on the street and the DEA pays $200. They get it from the same vendor that sells the toilet seats to the military.

Many people smoke weed. I don't think it matters what you do for a living. As far as DEA, they are like anyone else. I am sure sometimes they may have to so their cover doesn't get discovered.

Of course, and I'm sure that's not the only drugs they do either. Hell, what better job to have as a stoner than one in which you constantly know where all of the drugs are at any given moment. I do agree that we need to cut and run on drugs. Hell, if we took half of the money used for the war on drugs and reinvested into the education system, inner-city rejuvenation projects, we'd be way better off. Better education and better living conditions=less drugs, less crime overall.
The war on drugs is ineffective because it's just like all police action-it only does anything AFTER something happens, but never does anything to correct the problem.

Yup, they get the best shtuff. My girlfriend had a good friend whose mother was in the DEA -- drugs galore. And I wasn't into drugs so I didn't want to believe it, but it was true.
