The officer who detained pro-football player Ryan Moats from seeing his dying relative in the hospital has resigned in wake of the scandal.

I say good-riddance.

Yes, he needs to go. The truth is he could have let Mr.Moats go into the hospital after the situation was explained and verified by hospital personnel...he choose to have him stay outside while running the warrant check and writing the ticket etc.

Not at all. If I see someone run a red light, I'm going to pull them over too.

Check out the video. Officer has a job to do, but officer should have been more sympathetic to Moats in my opinion.
